Indonesia is an archipelago country, so there are a lot of beautiful beach, one of them are Pangandaran beach. Pangandaran is one of West Java's best kept-secrets as far as international tourist are concerned. Located on a peninsula on the south coast of West Java, about 91 Km from town of Ciamis, Pangandaran offers uniquely black and white sand, calm waved beaches and spectacular sunrise and sunset. The beach resort facing the Indian Ocean is 223 Km from Bandung and 400 Km from Jakarta.

In Pangandaran beach area, there is a hill that more than 500 hectares wide, which divides into two coastal region, west and east coasts. Local government made this hill as a natural reserve areas in which there are various types of flora and fauna. Here, we can easily find the type of animals such as deer, various species of monkeys, bats, even at the peak of the hill there is a field that is still occupied by wild bull.
The nature reserve can be reached on foot (hiking) from the east coast or boating can also surround the peninsula, looking at a waterfall on the edge of a nature reserve, over several islands such as Pulau Nusakambangan, and see Stone Screen (called Batu Layar because the shape of stone resembles a sail).
